So you own a few Kubota tractors, all of wich have the same reservoir for the hyd/trans fluid. When servicing you do the right thing and drain the lower points in the rear axles as well as the main drain plug, replace the filters, refill and your on your way with a properly serviced machine....So you buy a "ZD" to do some mowing, at 50 hours you do the service, you drain the low points in the rear axles, refill the trans and go, right? Maybe you just breezed through the manual and you miss the part about the rear axle housings being a seperate service item and understandably don't notice the dipstick plugs in the top of each housing (kind of hard to see).
In this case off you go with NO fluid in the rear axle housings.
It has happened enough times, just thought I'd throw out the info..............................................................

Guess that is good information to know.

Now, if only I can remember that when and if I ever buy one, or possibly help someone that has one.
