Kubota question.

I hope this isn't too vague but where are Kubota tractors primarily made? I have read a bit about them but became confused as to the whereabouts of primary manufacturing. I realize they are a Japanese product but see they have ties to California and Georgia. Any thoughts?

Japan and there is a new plant in Georgia. Haven't heard of a plant in California but there might be.

Kubota USA sales/admin HQ is located in Torrance, California.

There is an engine manufacturing plant in Illinois.

There are two Kubota manufacturing plants in Georgia. All Backhoes, Front End Loaders and Utility Vehicles are manufactured in Georgia. Tractors and construction equipment ship from Georgia as large components, final assembly at your dealers.

Some tractors are almost completely manufactured and assembled in USA, others almost completely in Japan (the Grand L tractors), a few come from a large Kubota factory in Thailand.

Components come from Kubota plants all over the earth.

However, keep in mind where small components are made and where they are assembled into larger components is subject to change.

To me, Kubota is not a Japanese product. Deere is not a US product.
Kubota stock and Deere stock (Toyota, Honda, Nestle stock…..) is sold on multiple world stock exchanges to anyone with money and the desire to hold equity. The majority of Kubota stock may, OR MAY NOT, be held by owners in Japan.

These are truly international firms.
