Kubota PTO Clutch Problem

I own a LA2800 Kubota tractor. My PTO cable recently broke and I had to order a kit to replace it. I didn't install the bracket--only the cable. I can't seem to get it adjusted properly. Everything seems to work properly until I depress the clutch to disengage. I get a clanking noise until I do disengage.

Any suggestions?

Where is the clanking noise coming from in the tractor?

The clanging comes from under the seat and continues until I have the PTO disengaged.
