Buying Advice Kubota Pricing

Hello,

Attempting to purchase a new Kubota M7040HDC with LA1153 FEL at my local dealer. List price on the unit I want is $43,923.00. His cash price is $39,000. Not that much discount in my opinion. How much discount do most dealers give on a new tractor purchase?

Most people on TBN say that if you price your tractor on Kubota's website, you can take about 12 percent off the MSRP and that would be a close number. Looks like you are pretty close.

Maybe solicit quotes from 2 other Kubota dealers? - i.e. keep him honest.

Is the model in the yard; elsewise it would be more expensive.

Seems a bit high. Not sure what the "HDC" after M7040 is but my cousin in Nebraska just bought himself a new 2-wheel drive, no cab, M7040 package. Tractor, FEL, canopy and block heater for $24,5000. It will be delivered this coming Wedesady and they didn't charge him for delivery.

Curious, I went to my dealer to see an M7040 and was amazed. This bad boy is huge, horse power wise and up from the ground wise. I had to climb up two stirrup steps and then grab the steering wheel to pull myself up to the seat. The rear tires were just about as tall as me if that gives you an idea (I'm 6-ft flat). This machine is a beauty. I agree with daveinnh. Check out some other dealerships for the best price. Good luck and keep us updated please.
