Kubota M6800

We have a local mechanic off out here in the country, and I happened by there Sunday and noticed what appeared to be a nearly new, but dirty M6800 cab model in front of the shop. I stopped by today to ask who it belonged to and what was wrong with it. The owner was baling hay and his air-conditioner quit cooling, and since the dealership was closed on Sunday, he called the local guy to check it out in the field. It wasn't cooling and was running 500 pounds of head pressure. The mechanic took it to the shop, washed out the radiator, grill, etc., head pressure dropped to 200, and it promptly cooled the cab. Hope the owner learned something about basic maintenance./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Yeah, I watch that pretty carefully on my M6800, but with grass everywhere, there is seldom any in the radiator. Guess he is going to have to take a look once in a while.
