Kubota LA1335 loader......weak?

??

The 3 point seems to be working fine? Explain more to me?

In certain conditions if 3 pt feedback rod is adjusted incorrectly it can cause 3 pt to try to raise too high causing 3 pt relief valve to unseat therefore lowering hyd system pressure lowering scv or loader hyd power. I'd suggest to plug a 5000# gauge in rear remote then activate control lever to check pressure. IIRC pressure should be 2770 psi.

Are either of these things, the rod adjustment ( assuming I could find it ) and reseating the valve, are they user serviceable?

Yes but I suggest to acquire a gauge & test pressure.

First, install a hyd gauge in a tee in the loader IN port.

With all valves in neutral, you should see no or very little pressure.

To test relief pressure, retract the loader lift cyl and try and retract some more.

The pressure should reflect the cyl and pumps ability to develop pressure.

Now , fully raise the 3pt and hold it to the top.

The hyd gauge will now show the 3pt developed pressure.

It should be the same pressure as the loader.

Technically it does not matter which direction(retract or extend) cylinder is operated as long as it moved to it's limit then system pressure will be displayed on the gauge if it's teed into the IN port.

Of course, but why raise the loader when it is usually already down/retracted.

Thank you for the help............

Turns out that a part of a limb had wedged itself in the underside of one of the couplers and broken off a small splinter.......that was invisible. Effect was to just barely wedge the coupling out of perfect alignment and seat.

Got it cleaned up and did as you guys suggested and had the actual pressure checked......and it all works!!

Great resource here!!

Glad to hear it. Thanks for reporting back. Most of these sudden loader failures seem to be quick coupler issues.
