I worked on the cab yesterday for about 8 hours finishing up the initial fabrication and fitment of the door, and started skinning in the parts around the fenders, I also as you can see from the pics lifted the cab off to make it easier to do my final welding and to start to build the top, I am pleased so far with how it is coming along, it is an involved project but I know it will be worth it when it is 10 degrees outside :D

Nicely done. Ive been wondering, are you going to have the loader joystick come through the glass?

Johndeere3720,

No I just installed a new remote cable valve prior to starting on the cab, I did not like the loader mounted stick from day one so when I decided to build the cab it was my excuse to go with a new loader valve :)

I am off tommorow and will post pics of my updated progress.

YES I am using 1/4" TEMPERED GLASS.

I finally was able to work this evening again on the cab, I finished up my "skinning" around the cowl and fender areas, I will be putting the cab back on the tractor tommorow to do some final tweaking, then take it back off and do shoot it with self etching primer, some bondo work then I will be ready to paint.

After I get the cab in paint I will start the roof fabrication, I will be using wood for the frame and roof and it will all then be encapsulated in fiberglass.

I will post pics tommorow.

I like it that you took the time to grind the welds flat as that definitely makes for a more professional appearance.
