My Kubota L2201 is not starting. It isnt even turning over. Nothing. The charge light comes on. The battery is good. The alternator and starter are getting voltage. It was in neutral and i had the clutch engaged. The key was on.

Anyone have experience with this problem?

Any other way to chase this down. Do the neutral, clutch sensors or ignition switches go out on these?

Even though the battery has 12 volts, could a low amp battery cause this? I tried a battery jump off. No luck.

thanks

If you have voltage at the small wire on the starter when turning the key, the solenoid is bad.

The wire you mentioned was loose. It was hard to notice. It looked fine. As i touched it with my meter i noticed it was very loose. Recrimped the terminal. Once tight, the tractor started right up.

thanks.
