Kubota B7510
B7510 with LA302 loader. Loader has no downward strength - will not lift the front wheels off the ground most of the time. This started when I put the snow blower on & I could not lift it. Bucket back on & discovered this issue with the loader. All other loader & 3-point functions work as they should. Unit has 400 hours on it. Can anyone offer help for a hydraulic newby?

First check your connections,
then check your fluid levels
does dump curl work ok
Will it lift and lower the arms normally?
let us know what you find

Are you using the regen or float. If you have regen, there should be a soft stop and past that is regen.

Check the pressure at the FEL valve IN port, or plug in to one of the QD's

The bucket curl works fine in both directions. The arms raise fine and will float down but power down only some of the time, ie when rpm is up, but has no strength going down. Not sure what regen is. Fluid level is good and there are no apparent leaks.

On the L3130 hydrostatic I had, the lift cyls were around 1 3/4" and if it was setting on a cement floor the only way it would get the front wheels off the ground, was to put it in N or push the fwd pedal down just a little. If you get off onto soft ground it was OK. On the hard floor the hydrostatic wouldn't let the rear tires to roll and on the soft ground the rear tires would slide.
Just put it in N and see if it well do the job. I got where if I needed the front up I just eased down on the foot pedal a little, If I was digging and moving fwd everything was OK.

You say bucket works fine in both directions, then try putting the bucket flat on the ground and curl the bucket down. It should be able to lift the front wheels off the ground.

You should be able to push the lever fwd on a joystick valve and the lift should be able to lift the tractor. Do you back drag with pressure down or float?

Check the pressure at the valve IN port and tell us what it is, while trying to lift or curl. Max out the cyl and read the pressure .

Bucket curl easily lifts the front off the ground. With the front edge of the bucket perpendicular to the ground however the lift arms will not lift the tractor.

I don't have a means to measure the pressure. What do you recommend to do this?

JJ - you also asked about dragging. I have done both: back dragging in float or with down pressure. Now there is no ability for the latter.
Thanks for working through this with me. It is much appreciated.

Remember I said this all started when I put the snow blower in and could not lift it. I then put the loader back on and now have these issues.

Did you change anything to the hyd?

Purchase a 3000 psi hyd gage about $15 and install it in a tee at the IN port to the FEL valve, or make a QD hyd pressure checker, like these.

Do you have the cyl hose connected correctly.
