kubota fel

Hi-

I just purchased a Kubota b2600d and would like to find a loader for it- does anyone have ideas of good places to dig one up, or where we could get plans to build one? I guess they may not make this size new, plus the cost that's been quoted is more than what we paid for the tractor and 6 implements!!

I am building the CADPlans 1007 FEL and can tell you that it can be built for @$15-1600. If you have a drill press, welder, and metal cutting bandsaw those prices hold true. If you need to get these items then the price goes up accordingly.

Are you building this loader for a Kubota?

I.m building it for a Yanmar FX24d. The plans are complete for the FEL, BUT leaving you to configure the mounts. It comes with mounting plans, but they may no fit your tractor. They didn't fit mine. What I did was to go look at several different tractors with FELs to see how they were mounted, then built the simplest that I could using most of the pieces from the MetKit kit. I neglected to say that I used the MetKit kit for the parts. Unless you are an accomplished machinist, having the parts already machined, drilled, etc is a tremendous saving in frustration and ruined metal.
