One of my neighbors had an old garage built in the 1930's that he wanted demolished since it was getting rottenand unsafe. He asked if I would help knock it down. I told him that he had the right guy to tear something up!
I started by pulling out support beams with the Kubota L4330.

After I pulled the front wall off and then pulled a little on the gable end it collapsed.

I was able to separate the gable ends and walls using the tooth bar on the bucket. Then I was able to use the loader forks to pick up the walls and gable ends one big piece at a time. I hauled them to the back of his property in big sections to be burnt. Wow was it quick talking big sections instead of little buckets full.

The roof held together in one big piece. It was very difficult to tear apart with the tractor and I was getting leary of puncturing the tires with old nails.
So I decided to bring over the Case track loader to finish it off. This really added to the testosterone festival!
I was able to crush the rafters down and after driving over the rumble pile a few times it busted the boards up in to small pieces. We could then scoop up the small pices and take them away,
By the time that we had finish it had only taken 4 hours to tear down and haul off leaving a clean pad.
I will post some more pictures as soon as I get them downloaded.

I know you enjoyed this job by the enthusiasm in your posts!!! I would have too. But it's was still nice of you to help him with the project. Would have been extemely labor intensive to do by hand. That's what good country neighbors are for!!! :)

Thanks for the kinds words.

I really do enjoy helping others especially when I know they appreciate it. It is even more fun when the project is so daunting that they don't see the solution initially.

Here are some action shots of the Case track loader crushing up the roof so I could scoop up the pieces and take them to to burn pile. That is me on it trying top add as much counter weight to it as I can.
In a few days I plan on going to tear out the old concrete floor and footings.
