kubota bt 751 backhoe

just took my boom cylinder out of my bt751 to replace hoses, now i cant figure which way it goes back in, hoses (fittings) facing up with steel tube up, or hoses (fittings) facing down, towards ground. this is with boom fully extended bucket touching ground. Any input would be greatly apreciated. thanks

Do you have this picture from the Kubota parts diagram?

I do, but my cylinder did not match diagram, with no hoses atached i. tried it both ways... fittings down is correct way .thank you for responding.

It's mighty cozy inside the boom, as you found. Kubota did some good
things on this hoe, minimizing exposure to hose damage, but sure making it
hard to replace hoses.

Most of these hoes probably never see a hose change job, esp for the boom cylinder.

If you rarely remove the hoe from the tractor, you might want to check
the bolts on the upper mainframe hoe clamps, since they get loose and are not
visible with the hoe mounted.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately hose sprung a leak right below control levers ..regardless boom cylinder still has to be removed to change hoses. Thanks

Good morning, I have a B2100 would like to put a bt751 onto it, does any one have drawing or photos of the subframe hitch for this, regards Chris
