Kubota L3400
I am considering to purchase a BH75 for my L3400, the quote from one dealer was $7300.00 + -, installed. My questions are:

1. Is this a reasonable price?

2. Is there a way to see if this unit has the new "Upgraded" dipper stick cylinder (diameter or serial number range)?

Back to plowing snow !!!!!!!!!!!

Got one in Dec ( with purchase of B2630), a little under $6000 with the bucket. Had another quote within $100 ( also with B2630).

That is a great deal under 6 grand installed. I could never do it at that price not if I wanted to keep my job anyway. What did you get your tractor for? I can sell that backhoe at $5 if you buy a tractor from me at the same time...but the tractor will be a bit more than the norm.

You paid $47 less than list for the loader less bucket
You paid $195 less than list for the tractor
You paid $339 more than list for the Quick Tach
You paid $157 more than list for the bucket

They gave you a good deal on the BH75 but worked you a bit on the other items...however if your happy with the purchase that is all that matters.

The dealer will probably sell the backhoe, attachment hardware and bucket for around $7000. There is little markup and selling an add-on for much less than that figure is unlikely. There are however additional costs involved. Shipping of the backhoe, bucket and brackets is expensive. Installation will be probably 3 hours or so, at what, $60-80/hr? Tax on the whole thing will be hundreds. When it's all over you will receive enough change from your 80 $100 bills to take you and your spouse to dinner a couple times.
Normally around $6600 would be a fair price for the unit added as an option, but after the sale costs are a different story. I think mine came to a little over $7700 after Mississippi's 7% sales tax.
The new models are designated BH75A and will be reflected on the data plate as such. I don't think there are any 75's left out there. It would be a good idea to be sure though. From my own research, your $7300 (plus tax) seems to be a good price.

I was quoted $6950.00 for the 75, which they have in stock, and $6850.00 for the woods 80 which they have to order. Both prices included install.

Now, I just need to get the $ for it.:(

I looked at my records for the BH 75A backhoe and 16 inch bucket purchase. It was $7605 out the door including shipping, installation and the dreaded sales tax. I mentioned earlier that it was a little over $7700 when in actuality it was a little over $7600. Sorry for the mistake.

I was looking at a tractor that had a BH75 on it and I asked if this was the BH75A. I did not see the data plate, just the lettering on the dipper that said BH75. The salesman did not know and was not aware of BH75A. I let it go because I am leaning toward the Woods BH80X. However, I am curious if this is something the salesman should have been able to answer?
