Fellows,

Can y'all help me identify the Kubota 3-Point Backhoe in the attached pictures? I just purchased it yesterday evening for $200. It needs some hoses, a little ram and control valve work, a seat, and some fresh paint (after proper preparation). It was in working condition before being laid up a couple years ago. I know that this is an old attachment and it was part of a Kubota L240 tractor package. Can anyone help with a possible model number and any specifications? The tag is missing from the back of the control console (which has had some modification). The bucket has also been replaced with a non-OEM (custom built) bucket. I figured for what I paid and what I'll have to put into it that it should make a good attachment for the overall cost invested. It is hanging on the back of my little Yanmar YM1500D to help with scale.

Also, I have the option to purchase the Kubota Model 1200 Loader that is mounted on the L240 for about $500. It will also need about the same work and is the same age. Will these two items be too big for my little Yanmar or will I just need to get a bigger tractor:D?

I have wanted a little loader for a while and even have some of the hydraulic components for a build, but for the cost of this loader and some work I would probably come out a little better. Not to mention that I would have the loader quicker than with a 'from scratch' build. The Model 1200 Loader has a 48" bucket and my 1500D may be better suited for a 42" bucket. The backhoe was a bonus find. I know that I will need weight in the front to offset the weight of the backhoe. What better way than with a loader, right?

Thanks for the help.

Kubota did use ARPS for a manufacturer for hoe's for the old B-7100. I don't know if this one was or not.

Thanks charlz.

I had been doing a little research and thought that it may be a K650. The link that you provided has a good bit of information and another point of contact. I have also PM'd another member who has one of these backhoes to get additional information.

Thanks for the help.
