Issue!!! I was mowing yesterday (brush hog), Hit a pile of dirt and the tractor died. Took the mower out of gear, pushed on clutch and tried to restart the engine. Nothing, Nothing. I turn on the key, instrument panel lights but the engine will not turn over or even click as if a battery is low.

Something in the ignition? Found my paper work from purchase and it has a "slow blow' fuse. Could this be my problem?????

Probably just a safety switch. Check your power take off lever, if off a little bit it won't start. I had a kid playing on my tractor with it off of course and he moved the lever just enough so it would not start. Took me awhile to discover that.

one other thing that came to my mind is to check the hst foot pedal. it also has to be in neutral to start and can sometimes throw fits. mine was off a bit once and took me a while to figure it out. maybe stalling the tractor while on the foot pedal might have not let it return to neutral normally. this probably is not it, but is worth a quick check. good luck.

Thanks Namesray, That is exactly what the problem was. I adjusted every lever, clutch, etc. While holding the key in the crank position I happen to step on the HST and the dang thing started. I just found this site and am very happy to get the help. Kuddo's to you and magicheater. Thanks,
