I just bought a Kubota B7100HSD and was told by the person I bought it from that I could use a 4ft. lift cutter on it and just attach it to the back three point hitch....when I went to attach it the arms would not swing out wide enough for me to attach the implement (Kingcutter 4ft brush hog)...I had to remove two orange plates in the back that have rods going up to the under-deck mower....I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong or if I have to go to all this trouble everytime I want to use my brushhog????

I had a KK 4ft rotary mower for my B7100 and had to take the attachment pins on the mower and turn them so they pointed to the inside. I have started doing this on a few of my 3pt accessories for my B2400 also as it makes them much easier to attach.

Roger that.

I have a B7100 also, and turning the lift pins to the inside is the first thing that I do to any new implement if possible. As B2400 said, it makes hook-up a whole lot easier.
