Kubota B3350 tractor regeneration problems

Still looking for fuel consumption data for these two models. Any inside Kubota data available?

fuel consumption will vary with load, but typically in this size tractor its around a gallon per hour.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I am guessing that the first time the dealer (union?) fixed the tractor they might not have had the latest and greatest service bulletin. Hopefully the next fix will nail it. Hopefully Kubota has/is working out the bugs. Go back and look at the previous posts about the various service bulletins with particular attention to the serial numbers and level of service required to bring the 3350 up to date.

Yes Union, I am looking back through the dates now, the tractor went in to the dealer on Feb 3, they had it for several weeks. So that is not too long ago, and the service bulletin that ljvsdk51 was referencing is dated 2014.

I clicked on the link in his post and it only brought me to the dealer located page of Kubota. I could look up the break charts etc, to help coach the dealer!

Just did not like the sound of a couple of the stories posted in this thread.. (trading tractor back in, my goodness...)

My serial starts 50xxx. It is one of the earlier models in that you have to push the "auto" switch after starting the tractor. That lights up and is supposed to enable the dpf to regen as necessary. The newer version starts with the regen defaulting to automatic. There probably are other small differences but I can't speak to that as I am waiting for Kubota/Torrance to send the pages covering the dpf function for my version. I have the newer owner manual and need to replace the dpf section with the pages they are sending. Either of the write ups suffer from translation problems. As much as I read the manuals I am confounded that Kubota didn't hire someone who's first language is English.

Hmmm yes, I have no option/button to 'select' or allow the tractor to enter/begin an automatic regen. I have one button to begin a parked regen, and one button to delay a regen. In my case, to date, neither have affected anything, as I have never completed a regen successfully.

Tractor not picked up today, maybe tomorrow, but then what?

Is there an L series tractor that is the same horsepower that has no DPF?

Hmmm, maybe I should exchange?

I think I read that any of the tractors with over 26 hp are required by EPA to have a tier 4 system. Remember to look into lemon law here in Maine as that might come into play if Union can't fix it under warranty. Liteship swapped out his 3350 earlier this year for a 2650. The tractor I bought was also a "swap" by Kubota as they couldn't fix the dpf issues on a timely basis. As mentioned earlier, I am waiting for my first regen.......keeping my fingers crossed!

Ya what a bummer. There must be a way to get this resolved as there have been several comments from B3350 owners who have been successful with regens.

Could be using the tractor last night, this evening etc.... just as I needed it this Feb when we had snowfall after snowfall, and the tractor was sitting in the back lot at the dealer waiting for a part....

I decided I'd look at the info for the regens on B3350's before I left the shop today.

The regen service bulletin is 39 pages and the reformer bulletin is 21 pages.

I was going to print them out but felt bad about killing the trees.

I did print the regen procedures though
