Kubota B2601 vs TYM T25

Currently looking at these two tractors. I’m looking for something that will not tear up my yard. It will be used to help with yard work and to occasionally spread dirt or gravel. May do some occasional light farm work but have a larger JD for that. Both tractors have good dealer support.

They each have positives and negatives. Kubota is $5k more but should have better resale. It also has a 3 speed transmission and T25 is 2 speed. The TYM seems a touch bigger and is a little heavier. Prefer the foot pedals on the T25. Kubota seems to have smoother loader control.

Does anyone have any experience with both of these or any suggestions on others that are similar size I should look at? Do you guys the the Kubota would be worth the extra $5k?

How is the dealer support in your area on both brands?
They are both good machines, but any brand is subject to having something break, so dealer support is critical.
Personally I lean towards the T25 especially for 5k in savings.

Dealer support would be good for either. I know the owner of the TYM store well. He’ a smaller dealer that hasn’t been dealing tractors as long but he will bend over backward for people. Kubota dealer is larger dealer that has been around longer. I don’t know them as well but they have a good reputation. Bought a mower from them years ago and they treated me well with that.

That's tough.

The Kubota is going to have solid parts support behind it, a massive dealer network, and arguably better fit and finish. Plus, now that I've had a 3 range hydro, I can't imagine going back to 2.

On the flip side the B2601 is a little less capable, and the T25 has proven itself as a really reliable little tractor. TYM sells quite a few of them, and I was personally impressed with the little tractor after messing around with it for a bit at a dealer open house when it was introduced.
