I have been working my now year old tractor pretty hard clearly the land to build a 40 x 60 pole barn. The B2320 has one odd thing that happens. While backing up the tractor will suddenly shut down the engine. Mostly while I am leaning left. I traced this down to a mispositioned seat switch bracket that can get dislodged and cause this condition. Has anybody else out there had this happen? Is there a fix?

I have not had it happen, but the fix is to jump the connection to the switch. This will give voltage to the system at all times and make the machine think the seat is occupied.

Not wanting to get rid of that little bit of safety that the switch provides, like if I am on one of my hills and roll, I do want that mower to stop..........so....for me, I tried taping a small piece of wood onto the bottom of the seat so it would push down a bit more on the switch......This worked but the tape kept shifting....So....made a small, 3/4 X 3/4" x 3/4" piece of rubber horse stall mat.....drilled a hole perhaps 1/2 the depth of the block so that it would sit snuggly on the switch button.....Found it works just fine so used some silicone rubber to "glue" it in place...........Now, if I am WAY over to the left, like over the fender, it will die.....But for me...works just great...God bless.....Dennis
