Snow Kubota B21 under snow drift won't start

Another method that's pretty sure to work when everything is cold, slow, and stiff is to give the air intake a sniff of starting fluid. If it turns over at all a little shot usually gets it done. I keep a can on hand - I never use much of it (like 1/2 second spray)

Ya got it figured out, but if it is slow to trun over again, do you have a compression release?

My B8200 is very similar to the B20/B21. I have a compression release knob I can pull. My battery went bad a few years back. Even with a weak charge, if I let the motor start spinning with no compression, it would fire when I released the compression realease.
