According to the RTV1100 manual, these points. And the 900 series is almost identical.

I didn't see the grease fittings in the universal joints (rear) of the RTV 900 among Spudhauler's images. They may be there, but I didn't see them.

Good point!

No my manual didn't show them either.

There is one grease nipple on the rear u-joint but nothing on the front of my RTV1100 2009.

And they aren't easy to get at if your 1100 is like my 900. I use a floor jack to lift the rear end and rotate the tires in order to access the zerks.

I had to go check my RTV 900 and it for sure doesn't have any zerks on the rear U-Joints, likely this is only an 1100 thing. Good thing because I had never looked to grease there. I believe Messick's has a web page on servicing the RTV 900 which is what I used on mine. IT is pretty good at explaining what and where everything is located.

Gary,

You are correct -- Messick's site (Kubota : RTV-Series) does not mention the U-joints. However, my RTV 900 (purchased new in 2009) has zerks in the rear U-joints.

My 2011 RTV900 has a zerk for each u-joint. Total of four plus for more for the hydrostat linkages.
