I am in the unfortunate position of having to sell the Kubota 3540 I purchased last summer. It was used only for less than 20 hours around the yard. It has a LA724 loader with a toothbar.
I would guess 18000-19000. But like someone else mentioned you are competing with zero percent financing at the dealer if someone is taking out a loan.
Kubota's prices are going up and the financing deals are dwindling next month. That could have a positive impact on your price. What you ask for it partly depends on how soon you need the money. The better the deal, the faster it will sell. But no matter what you price it at, almost any buyer will want you to take less. Good luck selling it.
kubota L 3540 hsdc,B 2320 hsdc & lots of other stuff!
The 3540 is an awesome machine, worth 19 grand all day long. Sometimes at night when i cant sleep, i go out to the shop and i sit in my chair and just look at it (my 3540 hsdc). I guess 31 years of grass farming are taking their toll. If i had it all to do over again, i wouldnt change a thing!
Well, sounds like my best option may just be to figure out a way to keep it. Selling at a big loss on a barely used tractor just isn't too appealing right now.
tractornc, I'm looking for a tractor in the 16,000to 17,000 range are you interested ? I would need to ship it out of NC. Email me if interested ymurphy@charter.net Thanks Yorke
