I am a property owner and do not have a construction business. I have tractors, case 135 excavator, and numerous attachments. I want to build or buy a small screening plant for loam and gravel. At first I was thinking of building one but with the price of steel what it is, I am thinking that buying an old plant might be the best way to go. I have No experience with screening plants and I'm hoping to get some advice here. Have a chance to buy an old Kolman plant model DG 8048. I havent seen it yet but will take a look soon. I am told it looks allot like the newer kolman model 101. Can anyone offer ANY advice on what to look for ? what price range ? anything at all would be helpful. It IS an old plant but I understand that parts are available. I will post some pictures after I go to see the DG 8048. Thanks !
