Koiti on a Deere

Thinking about buying a Koiti BH with sub frame for my 2720 John Deere.

I know this is doable but wondering how to mount frame to rear of tractor since the front would mount to the loader frame.Any one do this on a 2520 since it is the same set-up as 2720??????

I built my own backhoe for a 2210 and now have it on my 2720. I copied the deere subframe. Have you looked at the deere subframe on jdparts. Basically take the 3pt lift arms off and the subframe has 2 ears that slide over the pins that hold the lift arms. From the photo's of the kioti backhoe it looks very doable.

Yes I have . The bracket that goes around the PTO comes with the JD kit, it is heavy duty (I'd like to get a hold of one cheap) I think JD gets $900????
Also I'm not sure but I think the whole sub frame is $1090. by the time all said and done maybe to much cash.

I'm interested in your project of subframe on 2720 I hope you don't mind me asking.
1-did you do anything special for the bracket around the pto.
2- any pic. of project especially attachment at the rear of tractor.

Not sure what you mean by bracket around rear pto. I can take a couple pictures of what I built tonight . I just copied the deere subframe and loader mounting brackets.
There is nothing near the pto. Two slotted plates that slide over the shafts that hold the rear lift arms and the front attachment points that pin through the brackets that you bolt to the square tubes that the loader arms sit on.

If you go to JD parts 46 backhoe subframe for 2525/2720 it's #16

#16 is your tractors drawbar frame, you have this on your tractor.

It is heavier duty for the backhoe and comes with the subframe kit

Now I'm nervous, I'm using the standard one.

Now that I look at pictures of both I think I'll be taking mine off and reinforcing it. They appear to mount using the same bolt holes so this should be possible.

Yes it bolts up exactly the same.
