Kohler with 199 hrs. won't Start

Wow...just read it....same cylinder blew head gasket, and mine is a 2017 model !
What has happened to Kohler....they remind me of British motorcycles of the 60's ,70's....
.....even though it is out of warranty, I will report it to them for the record.
Screwed by by a big Corp. again.....

I have a Kohler Courage engine on my Husqvarna. 200 hours on it and engine hunts. Had to replace the starter this year...$40 for a clone.

When I replace the Husqvarna, I will find a ZT with a Kawasaki engine.

The Command 25 had issue with blowing head gaskets. Which was fixed with a gasket redesign. The started using fire rings on the head gaskets like other companies like Kawasaki and never had issue after that.

I'll just say this, not that I'm wishing it on you. I've seen the Courage twins with an egg shaped cylinder. My best thought was this was due being run for a while w/ a dead coil. I seem to remember that this was how the whole thing started. I've not seen it on the next limb of the Kohler family tree though. Hopefully you were on top of it, but have a look when you pop the head. Or just sell it to a relative you hate...
