My NX4510 came with it I love it and use it just about all the time except heavy loader work.

Hi badbumneez,

Not sure what CK model you are looking at, but when I was looking at the CK 35 or CK 40, the dealer I was working on said it was an optional accessory and could be installed any time. I also looked at the back of the CK product brochure and it is listed as an optional accessory, so I'm sure this can be added any time. I ended up with the NX45, where the linked pedal is electronic and I love it. Mine is left on all the time. The hand throttle sets your minimum throttle and if the pressing of the HST pedal needs more throttle, you get it.

On the CK, I believe this was a mechanical linkage, meaning it would be engaged at all times, but I really don't see a reason to disable it since you can always control your minimum throttle with the hand throttle. I guess the only reason you wouldn't want it on is if you wanted to keep the PTO RPM at the ideal setting but wanted full control of the HST pedal. Realistically, I still don't see that being an issue.

I think it’s standard on the ck se factory cab models. My ck4010 se hst has it.

It’s a little more crude feeling than I expected, from a tactile perspective, but most of the Kioti controls are.

They haven’t reached the level of sofistification of a modern pickup or medium duty truck, let alone a car.

i am looking at the ck2610 & 3510 standard tractors hst can it be installed at a later date. ? something you can do yourself. /

do ya`ll have any pix or video of what it looks likes & how it works or could you please take some & post them...

thanks for the info..

Basically you flip a lever and then your HST pedals will also engage the throttle very similar to a foot throttle on a gear transmission tractor. Basically you can leave the hand throttle at idle (but it works at any throttle setting), and then drive it around like a car. If you max the hand throttle out there's nothing left for the linkage to do so it won't have any effect. I think it where it will shine is in medium to light loader work and towing/dragging work, and obviously just driving around.

It's not going to help you if you're sitting still or heavy work while going slow.

I can make a video for you though if you want.

I have it on my CK3510SE and absolutely love it. I road my tractor quite a bit going from location to location and having that linked pedal makes it just like driving a car with a gas pedal.

It’s handy for mowing for example being able to slow to go around an obstacle or turn and then just accelerate out and keep on going. I use it for light loader work as well and it makes it much faster. Heavy work I turn it off and use the throttle the old fashioned way.

Alright, I will. Mine is back at the dealer for some service but I'll make a video when I get it back for you.

I wish the linked pedal was available as a retro-fit for the DK40.

I just brought my CK3510 home and have used it some. I love the linked pedals. Especially coming from a shuttle shift tractor. It made the transition much easier.

Yes. Nice video. I want this on my 2610. I wonder if its easy user installable? Plug and play sort of? Anyone done it?

Like you, I operate a constant level above idle. So like that this also allows that. In fact my dealer recommended operating at all times at least about 2000 rpm for eliminating carbon build up and for the health of the engine. As mine is a non tier 4 motor. So I would probably do as you do and operate near there and allow the linked pedal to do the rest. However would not even engage it when I was bush hogging and just run at the higher 2400 rpm all the time doing that kind of work. In my case 2400 rpm is essentially full throttle.

Also note how you also forget to take your brake off. I wish I had a nickel for every time Ive done that! LOL...

Thanks for taking the time for making and sharing the video

I installed the linked pedal kit on my CK2610, it works as advertised. It took me a few hours, but I took my time and am admittedly kind of ****... There are a LOT of small pieces and parts, clips, washers, linkage pieces, etc. But if you go slow and follow the directions it's not too bad. I wish I took pics during the install. The only part I didn't do was taking the steering wheel off. I fought with the puller a bit and gave up. I think this slowed me down a little. Here are the "after" pics:

i got it on my CK3510 - salesman said it's a PITA sorta thing to install - not difficult, but as Nick H says, tedious. So I let them do it.

I got cruise, link pedal, 2 rear remotes, mirror, horn, filled tires, floor mat, arm rest - $630. I did the mirror and armrest install, they did the rest.

Took me about a week to get a toolbox on there, still don't have the LED's installed. Do have 28+ hours in 10 days - so good thing I let them do it!

Pallet forks arrive tomorrow then a whole new round of tasks can be tackled!

Do you have the instructions for adjusting the Linked Pedals? My son got it dealer installed on his CK2610 and in reverse the RPM's only go up to 1900. It's a bit slow in reverse. Not about to ask the dealer after the ordeal he with through with them.

That is the only real frustrating part, there are no instructions for adjustment... I just sort of eyeballed it, and it worked great in forward. Since the throttle is fully mechanical on the 2610's adjustment is easy. I adjusted the cable so that the lift arm gets maximum travel. Then I adjusted the nut on the black throttle mechanism so that the full range of the pedal lever moves the throttle mechanism. It's kind of confusing in text, and the directions stunk, so I made this quick drawing. Hopefully it makes more sense. I made up the terminology... haha.

Linked Pedal Closeup.jpg

Long story short: Since the reverse pedal has a much shorter throw than the forward pedal, it cannot move the throttle linkage as far as the forward one... Net result is lower rpm's (and speed) in reverse. I haven't played with adjusting the stop screws on the pedals themselves (underside of the deck), I don't know if you can adjust the reverse pedal screw enough to increase the linked RPM's.

Sorry for the novel, hope this helps!

Thanks Nick! That's most likely more help than we would get from the dealer. Do you know what your max RPM's is when using the linked pedals in reverse? My son said his maxes out at 2550 in forward with the linked pedals and using the hand throttle.
