I talked to a dealer today of a different color and he mentioned one the he didn't like about Kioti is that a lot of ppl had trouble with them honoring the warranty and that their customer service wasn't that great. I was just wondering if anyone ran into this issue with Kioti. I understand the information I was receiving was coming from a dealer of a different color but b4 spending money I feel it worth seeking out.

What would a dealer of a different color know about Kioti?? I have not heard of many problems myself or on here.

It is called FUD... Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. It is one method of "ruining" the competition. There are many more.

This is why I'm here asking :)

Can only answer with my personal experience. My warranty was not only honored every time I've tried to use it, but by multiple dealers

My CK was leaking a very small amount of hydro fluid from the center of the tractor. Called my dealer, he said its was under warranty, when do you want to do it? We set a date he picked it up, fixed it and dropped it off. I did nothing.
Your dealer is the contact between the regional rep and Kioti, ( just like Ford or GM) . It's very important to find a reputable dealer.

I prefer a brand where I don't need the warranty.

I don't pay any attention to any dealer who downgrades other brands and won't buy from them.

My brother bought a Kioti just after I bought my last new Kubota, both dealerships provided good warranty service. A good dealer is a good dealer regardless of the brand.

I bought a new, then, 2006 Kioti DK 35. It now has +1500hrs on it and have had no warranty work required. I am keen on doing scheduled maintenance.

No personal experience with this (my DK was out of warranty when I got it). But based on many reports here, Kioti US forces you to work through your local dealer. So a stand-up, competent dealer will fix you right up and do battle with Kioti US if required. If you dealer (or his mechanic) is not competent, lazy, or just doesn't care you have a real problem unless there is another nearby dealer. You will usually have to pay to transport a sick tractor to and from a dealer. Kioti US won't get involved except in very unusual cases. This is probably the same with other brands but I don't know that. I have seen no reason to believe that Kiotis are inherently less reliable than other brands but every brand includes a few "problem children." I would add that there seems to be a great deal of technical advice available on TBN for Kioti tractors.

I agree with Triple R...a good dealer trumps all warranties. That being said, in two Kioti's(traded a little one for a bigger one) I had one warranty claim, a head gasket went at about 600hrs in year 4. Kioti warranty took care of it with zero cost to me, Dealer had my tractor ready in two weeks, and loaned me a tractor while mine was down....it does not get any better than that.

On my 2012 ck35, I had a hydro leak on the hst. My dealer picked up kubota and dropped Kioti. They trailered my machine to a central il. Kioti dealer. That ended up being a 7 month disaster! They split it twice and it still leaked. I then had to take it to Lowell Indiana, they fixed it and I eventually bought a dk40 from them.

Apparently it's good to be orange (even if kioti did blatantly copy Kubota in an attempt to confuse consumers )

Owned kioti's for 9 years and never needed warrany work

I think you can get a good tractor regardless of color. As stated many times; a good dealer is what's important.
I will say I have had no problems with my Kioti, and would not hesitate to buy another if needed.
