Kioti CK2610 vs Mahindra 1626 vs Kubota L2501

I feel the front end loader specs are quite a bit different, roughly 25% more lift to a higher position is significant, in my opinion. I plan to use pallets to store and move several things in my barn.

I agree that the BH of the kubota seems better than the Kioti and Mahindra. Neither Kioti nor Kubota dealers near me will let me drive them without a deposit put down; but the Kioti seems most similar to what I have used in the past; and as such more familiar.
that right there would have me buying the mahindra or an LS or...... IMO do what you are doing and research the heck out of it then find a dealer and sit / operate the tractor, talk to the service department, ask for referrals. If they balk at any of that just walk away. the only point of a dealer is to provide service before and after the sale, if they are failing to provide the service before you give them your money do you really expect it to get better after? It never hurts to let them know you are shopping several vendors and that you have done a lot of research.

It will be general property maintenance, and down the road used to help establish a new homestead. Moving logs, dirt and gravel work, pallets of stones, brush hogging, digging water/sewer/electrical trenches. Moving animal feed/hay.

I feel mostly the same about the dealers, Kubota dealer has been around longer, but seems less well kept up. Both are busy, but both were helpful as well and seem to stock filters/fluids, etc.
You arent lifting pallets of stone with any of these machines. , logs yes but you may need to cut them down so they dont weight 1000 lbs, etc. animal feed can get heavy if you are talking pallets. Brush hogging, provided you dont have hills and tall grass 25HP should work ok. You might need to take the FEL off if you feel power is lacking.

Yes, thats ridiculous. I would tell them they can either let you on it (maybe signa waiver) or you will go elsewhere.

Their are lots of you tube vids on people with mahindra 1626s out there, Most seem to really like them, I have two mahindras 1600 hrs total on both . They are good machines.

I almost bought a used 2615 (about the same as the 1626) and i liked it a lot, a very capable machine for the weight.

Hi all,

I am currently cross shopping all of these with a loader and backhoe, and I am somewhat at a loss of which direction to go.

Kioti - 23K for tractor Loader plus roughly 9K for backhoe - 32K total. Currently in Stock locally. Seems to be the most capable front end loader.

Mahindra - 29K for Tractor/loader/backhoe plus a free box blade and pallet forks with their current incentives. Seems to be the least reviewed of the three, but definitely the most affordable. Currently not in stock locally, but they are on order.

Kubota - 23K for tractor, plus roughly 10K for the backhoe. 33K total. Most expensive, lowest front end loader specs, possibly the best resale? Currently in stock locally

All three seem very comparable, all three are right near the top of my price range. Currently leaning towards the Kioti, for the front end loader capacity; but looking for any opinions.

Thank You
I'm on my 2nd Kioti, traded the first after 7 years and 550 hours for a bigger unit, CS2410 subcompact to a CX2510 compact. I've been very very happy with Kioti. Other then a hydraulic line on the smaller tractor I've simply never had an issue with either.

And after 7 years I sold the subcompact for the same price that I paid for it, probably could have sold it for more if I wanted.

I know Kubota is a good machine, but I'm inclined to believe that Kioti is just as good. And the prices where I live are much much higher for the Kubota versus the Kioti.

I haven't heard much about the Mahindra, but none of what ive hear was any good.

I'd stay Orange.

Whenever you compare, don't be too influenced by loader specs. There are a lot of ways that a creative adv. dept. can make loader specs say anything that they want. Advertising fluff.

I would be more influenced by things that cost the manufacturer more real investment to include. Things like:
The number of gears and how easily they are selected, how the PTO controls work, does it have a cold start system?
Does the 3pt hitch have adjustment cranks & telescoping arms or just threaded connections and solid arms?
Is the seat suspended or just hinged to sit on a spring?
Is the steering wheel adjustable?
How are the controls laid out?
Can you check oils & fluids conveniently - or even at a glance.
Are the filters accessible? What about zerks and grease points?
Can you lube the cable controls?
Is it easy to clean that radiator screen? Check the coolant?
Does it have a built-in hydraulic remote? (a biggie!)
Fuel tank....easy to get to?
Tool box & manuals?
Who pays for trailering for any warranty repairs?
Is there are loaner policy?
What are the costs of recommended maintenance?

All those things take real work by the manufacturer/dealer and are easy for a novice to compare.
good luck,
rScotty

I have a Kioti 3510 hst with about 300 hours on it and it’s been a fine machine. I was in the equipment business for many years and found that backhoes all have enough power to drag the tractor backwards. Unless you plan on using that backhoe a lot you can rent a mini excavator a whole bunch for what that backhoe cost and get a lot more done. If I was going to keep a tractor for a very long time I know of two brands I would not buy. That is John Deere and Kubota. I say that after working for John Deere for years. It’s because if I have a tractor for a long time I will be working on it and those two charge about double for their parts.

You've conveniently rounded the Kioti numbers down and the Kubota numbers up.

The LA525 loader lifts:
1,082 lbs to max height of 94.3"
1,431 lbs at 1500 mm height

The KL 4030 loader lifts:
[not specified] to a lift height of 98.4 in (4.1" higher than the Kubota)
1,835 lbs at 1520 mm height.

That's a 434 lb difference, not the 300 lb difference you stated.

Or, think of it as the Kioti lifts 28% more than the Kubota! That is quite significant.
It wasnt nothing malicious against kioti.

The specs I looked at showed 1490# for the bota. And I used mathematical standards for rounding, in which that does round up to 1500.

However....its seems the SAME LA525 loader is rated a tad higher on the 3301 and 3901 vs the 2501. Maybe kubota intentionally sets the pressure lower on the SAME tractor with a smaller engine to skate by the EPA???? Who knows.

I stand by my statement that in the real world.....you aint noticing a difference with these two machines. And loading/unloading palletized material....1000# is gonna be near the limit of both.

And if you want to handle material that the kubota is too weak to lift....and the kioti can barely muster.....sorry.....its still too small of a machine IMO.

You are getting ready to drop 30k on a machine. If a dealer wont let you sit on machine and drive it around the lot for 5 mins, to get a feel for controls and hydraulics....then Id be looking for another brand or another dealer, simple as that. Because, again.....these machines are so similar that I would NOT base a decision on paper specs. ITs all about ergonomics and layout.
