I have a 2006 ck20 that I bought not running. I am a fairly decent mechanic but I am stumped. The guy I bought it from said it had been setting up because of a problem. He said the “cam” for the injector pump had been replaced and it was not “timed” correctly. I motored it over after putting new diesel in it. i bled each of the injector lines from the pump to the injectors until I was getting “squirts” of diesel from each one then tightened them down. I expected it to try to run, but got nothing. Compression is good on all 3 cylinders. I tried looking up how to time the injector pump with the position of the gears and the flywheel but couldn’t find anything on line. Any help would be appreciated..

there was a batch of fuel pumps that sheared the timing gears in the ck series, there is a bit of stuff about it,

A flashlight will be your friend when trying to reassemble it. I thought I had mine all lined up when I reinstalled the gears and put everything back together as the tractor started right up but then as soon as I tried to drive out of my shed it started to run like crap and lots of black smoke...
