This is a first time post, but I have been hiding in the back ground for over a year. I went to the New York State Farm show yesterday and was quite disappointed that I didn't see Kioti represented there. I feel that with the great line up of equipment that Kioti has, and the new warranty, that they missed a real chance to show off for the public. Can any of the dealers or reps. explain why Kioti was not there? I have owned a 1714 Kioti since I bought it used in March 1990, and it's been a good little tractor, but I sure would love to move up. to a ck25 sometime

They are at a national show in Kentucky in this time frame. They do the NY show later in the year, I think in June?

Hello 17, i went to the same show last year and thought the same thing.. What a good chance for folks to really see these tractors for themselves..How many hours do you have on that 1714 by the way ?

I agree I just got back from the show and got a chance to look at a lot of the competition. Mahindra, Deutz Fahr, Farm Pro, Branson. Kioti could have shown itself to be a great buy when you got to walk from one to the other and look at items like fit & finish, how beefy the 3pt hitch system of each looked. I think Kioti missed the boat.

Sorry I did not get back sooner. I now have 1015hrs. on this tractor. It had 173hrs, on it when I bought it. I have spent about $110 on repairs in the 16 yrs,(not counting PM items). repair items included water pump, thermostat, altenator bearing, and 2 light bulbs. There have been some other problems but they just involved my time to repair.
All in all real cheap to operate.

The only complaints I have are no power steering ( tough to steer when using the loader), no syncro shuttle, and too narrow (44in. to outside of bars on r1 tires)

The early bar tread tires definitely gave quite a narrow stance. You could find a set of Newer style 1914 "fat" ags or R-4's.

There used to be a kit to add PS to this model too. Not sure if it is still available or not.

Ya I checked one time for a customer and they said that the company that use to make the kits is no longer in business or making the kits. Im sure you could buy all the PS componets for a LB1914 and put them on the 1714 but it might be $$$.....

May be a good time to trade up if you want all of that stuff.

kioti always goes to the august farm show in seneca falls, NY. They have a much larger farm show down south going on is the reason I was given they didn't make this show.
