Hello. My neighbor just recently purchased a new Kioti CK25HST with FEL and a 60" Kioti rear blade -- very nice tractor. My neighbor has a 3000' gravel driveway and he plows the snow with the rear blade. Does anyone know if skid shoes are available for the blade to prevent it from digging into the road?? (blade is digging into the road when it is not frozen)

Which brand is it? Most do not. You can buy the shoes for about $15-$20.00 each and weld some pipe brackets on to the blade as I did and mount them your self. They are washer adjustable.

I need to get some feet as well, I couldnt find much, gonna have to break out the welder.
I did find a bolt on pair for $80.00, but not allot of adjustment, Have a look

I bought a pair of skid shoes from Tractor Supply. Fabbed up the brackets from some scrap metal and utilized existing holes in my Kioti 72" blade.

The best and cheapest way to go is to do what Don did.
Cut out the middleman.
You can occasionally find them on ebay too.

With or old Ford blade - If you want to plow snow and not dig in I turn the blade 180 deg. Is that possable with the Kioti ?

I've used reinforced rubber mat, like conveyor belt material or an old truck bed mat, sandwiched between the blade frame and the removable blade. Works like a squeegee over the dirt and limits the damage.

TomK, this idea is new to me but I think I understand what you mean. How much material did you leave extending beyond/below the bottom edge of the cutting blade?

Highgear, good suggestion. If I remember correctly, the Kioti cutting blade is removable and may be reversible. I will check.
