When we used to get snow

We had about an inch the night before Thanksgiving. Two days after I last mowed the lawn.

Had a skim of ice on the pool cover puddle.

Some of our kids left to go back to Oklahoma this morning. It was 29 degrees. I was wearing shorts while helping them pack.

I miss winter.

Saw this just surfing the web . I have no need for it . Just posting it incase some of you folks up north havent seen one . At alittle under 15K even with the bucks , I think myself I would " pass on it " even if I needed a snow weapon . Maybe someone here actually owns one and cares to share there thoughts on it . Also carries salt treatment .

Lost my plow service up there, cabins on a hill with limited space to pile snow banks so hesitantly bought this self contained blower attachment. Can blow up to 20" deep supposedly? Was a fraction of the Ariens. Saw something very similar to that Ariens but wasn't an Ariens at an auction even beaten and used went for well over 10k. I'd think it would be great for sidewalks at large apt complexes or colleges up there like Michigan Tech, NMU walkways.

Not sure what the grounds temp is. It doen't freeze here unless its a road or something snow was removed from.

The snow will insulate the ground from freezing also. many frozen septic and water lines when there wasn't much snow cover and the temps were extremely cold.

We got much more last night than NOAA said we would. We will be heading out to Boundary RD trails and try rolling them. The city even had the plows out. I'll of cosure post photos after we get back. They usually get more snow out there.

We might have got 5 or 6" overnight. It was marginally enough to be out and knock down.

Not allot of snow but very wet and heavy and enough to try out my new snow plow I just finished building 2 weeks ago.
