Dirt Moving Keeping busy around the house

The gearbox looks like my Bush Hog from a distance. Closer up I can see the difference. Looks like an almost new digger. All the paint is still on the auger. You take some awesome pictures. Among some of the best photos I have seen posted on here.

Looking good, ctgoldwing! Does this path lead down to a water feature? I almost think I see a hint of blue through the trees in the center.

There is a street that runs parallel to ours below us. That color is the closest house, its about 600' or so from where the woods starts. Pretty much invisible when the foliage is on the trees.

There is a 'dry water course' that runs down the other side of the property line & where the slope levels off to a nice flat forest area there are some 'wetlands'. On my property, but close enough to that house so they could see if I messed around there
At one time I wanted to go down there & dig & stock a pond. Its not much of a wetlands but its marked that way on the town maps - if I touch it :ashamed:

This evening I was walking the dogs in the area I am going to fence for them and I decided I am going clear it like the front - take down all the small trees & scrub, at least in the areas that won't erode away. It will certainly look better and there is still several hundred feet of 'buffer' to that nearby house.

Hmm. Maybe they'll go out of town on vacation for a couple of weeks. You could tell them about the flash floods they missed while they were away, and how it washed the area out, leaving behind a pond . Heck, since its there, might as well go ahead and stock it.
