Don't know if Vince had mine in the mix/count, 06 CK30 gear. The rack in my IP went out at 215ish hrs. Been using Power Service additive seen receiving the tractor (regular during Spring/Summer/Fall and the anti-gel stuff for winter....can't remember which was white and which was grey right now). Mine was fixed under warranty no problem, but because I moved away from my selling dealer got wacked a hefty "pick up & delivery" charge from someone else even though I had to hand load my own dead tractor because the kid was as useful as teats on a bull. From what I heard from my good, selling dealer over this issue is that it was a limited run of these pumps, shared with several models that are at issue.

Glad to hear you're back up running Dirthauler, even if the service was a bit sketchy.

On the positive side or maybe year, I have a 2004 CK30hst, D is the first character of the serial number, purchased in 04/05. 450 hours and all is good. I've used Stanadyne Performance formula with their lubricity formula since new. Whether the year or additive made a difference, time will tell.
Being an hst, I usually set the throttle for the job and control my speed with the pedal. This would probably lessen the movement of the injector pump and maybe extend it's life. With gear tractors probably having more movement and on road vehicles always having constant movement, you'd think they could build a pump to last. Or as mentioned, we are only seeing the faulty IP reports and don't know the percentage of failures but Kioti did make design changes for some reason. Maybe a faulty batch, who knows. I feel sorry for those owners whose IP breaks with the low hours but unfortunately out of the time warranty.
