They say to order to the nearest 1/4". Mine is 58-1/8", so can go up, or do they want you to go down? I wonder if they err on the side of caution and make them slightly smaller. If so, I'd rather get a 58-1/4", so it would be a perfect fit. I sent them a message, but have not gotten a response.

They build them in increments of 1/4" so if the most narrow clearance is 58 1/8" where the built up weld is on the sides at the bottom, you would want a 58"
You are measuring the smallest inside dimension of the bucket, and the Bar has to be able to go inside. I loved mine on my BX25D and have one ordered for my LX3310 SUPER heavy duty.... good luck

On the 54 inch bucket what are the cutting edge dimensions? Are there wear strips on the bottom?

The actual cutting edge on my 54" bucket is 54 7/16". It does project below the bottom of the bucket. I see no additional wear strips on the bottom of the bucket.

On the 60 inch bucket the cutting edge is 3/8" X 3". What is it on the 54" bucket? Just thinking of ordering a 54 and keeping the 60 for mulch and snow.

The cutting edge on my 54" bucket is also 3/8" X 3" good luck

Definitely not enough strength in the cutting edge if you want to do dirt work. Looks like the 54 inch bucket is also whimpy but at least it comes pre-drilled for the Kubota add-on cutting bar.

I wasn't doing anything crazy. Mostly pushing and back dragging soft dirt. I did most of the earth moving with the box blade and just used the bucket to move the loosened dirt. I am going to buy a tooth bar. It looks like BXPanded is the one to have.

I've been moving mostly tilled dirt and back dragging for leveling. Been monitoring it very closely since it's labeled light material use. There is now a slight bend forming. Can't find anyone with the small 60 inch bolt on cutter bars in stock. Rather have something that bolts across the front vs a slip on tooth bar.

I have only heard good things about BXPanded. They will even match your bucket if it is worn or bent.
