Things have been quiet around here lately. Used my 3054 last Monday to do some bushhogging on the farm in preparations for the tilling this Sat. for planting wildlife food plots. Can't wait, hope the rain does tho.

Man! Is'nt summer great? Fire, friends and tractor just add beer.
Did a little side job with the DK40,also built a 800# ballast ,I'll send a pic when I put it on.......Mike

Mike,
Just curious if you filled your tires with fluid.
I have R-4's on my DK35,added 42 gal. of windsheid washer fluid in each rear tire(84 gal.total).
Made a world of differance.
This way I did not need a ballast box and can use any of my attachments and still do loader work.

Vince,No I did'nt load my R4's,I'm sure it works great I just tend to shy away from it mostly because of maintenance concerns.
The fel(1470) manual suggests a 750# ballast as an alternative and I did'nt want my tiller banging around back there anymore(its 650#).
I've been bringing alot of gravel up from the creek and with a 6' bucket it needs plenty on the back to keep it from getting squirrely...........Mike
