Good morning, My DW and I are retired Federal LEO and our last duty station was stockton ca. We purchased two homes there, one for ourselves and one for our kids to live in. We are originally from a small town in Utah and have been waiting for several years for the housing market to rise so we could sell our homes and move to rural Idaho. We sold one of our homes (yah) and next week we will be moving our oldest to Idaho then putting their house on the market. We will be buying a home with land (5-20 acres) and will be asking for alot of advise. Great site.

To the forum. You can get an answer for most any question from the good folks here. Just ask away. Have you owned a tractor before? Do you have any in mind? With that large of land I would not go below a CUT.

Sorry, but I am late in responding. Been busy, we got the kids moved to Idaho and just got back. We will be starting to prep the house for sale tomorrow. No worries, I was a Federal LEO and worked inside federal prisons for most of my career and there were no donut shops inside I have been looking at 40hp tractors on line but in reality most of our focus has been on selling our home, moving kids and finding our new home. Found a great home with 8 acres, water rites, four fields and around 100 mature (some fruit (8) )trees. The pastures are grass and all sub fenced. Hopefully, in two weeks our second home will be on the market and we will make an offer on the new property and ge the heck out of kalifornia.
