even with low amp loads? I have a fan and possibly a radio to mount on mine.

I do not like using the factory wiring of ANY vehicle/tractor/equipment to power extra accessories. It is usually grossly underrated as it is, and sized exactly for what's on that circuit from the factory. This is done for both cost reasons and weight saving (read MPG in a car-it all adds up!)

Just my opinion...May just be worth what you paid for it:D

Thanks. I'd love to see a pic if you can post one...

Here ya go... the 12v plug came from my local farm and ranch store. Power is drawn off the starter hot lug. Nice thing about this plug is a person can charge cell phone, or adapt other 12v things to plug in...ie.. lights, mp3, spotlights, etc, so power is always there when needed.

Thanks! Very nicely done... I may do something similar

Just a suggestion but before you go buying relays to install the strobe wait until you have the kit in your hands. I have purchased the strobe light and installed it on my 110tlb and the connectors to plug it in were on the tractor already. Earlier this summer when I was installing the rear lighting and upgraded cruise control on my 4520 cab I did note that a plugin for the strobe was in place. So I wouldn't get the cart before the horse.

Steve, he is getting a OS tractor-not a cabbed unit. I don't think the OS tractors are wired like the cabbed ones are-but I could be wrong.

Maybe not but the 110tlb is not a cab unit from the factory (I installed the Laurin cab and ac myself) and it had the wiring connectors. Also the backup alarm wiring and a few others. Before posting I was able to go thru my paperwork packet for the updated cruise and looked at the directions for adding it to the OS tractors and the wiring connections were about the same as the cab tractors. If my 110 was set up for cruise and loadmatch I would add this in a heartbeat.:D

Also - I got a Frontier SB11 74" blower with the tractor. I need to install an amber strobe light somewhere on the machine for use when blowing snow (state law). Has anybody done this or have any ideas on how to make a nice, clean install?

Great forum - appreciate the help
Why do you come under state law. ?

Reqiured in maine for any commercial snow removal equipment. We're an LLC, so I think we fall under that umbrella. Funny you should ask, because I'm researching this right now. If I don't need one, I'll just use the flashers.

Even if you dont have to, use a strobe. One less excuse for someone to say that they didnt see you when they hit you while plowing. Should make your insurance co happier too.
We use them whenever we tow our equipment on the road (mag mount rotating amber light on the ROPS or the implement depending on how big the implement is)
