2375 2 pulls cold start this morning popped. Push in choke running.
250c checked too. 3 slow easy start pulls to pop. Choke off started.
MM55 afm carb just put on last week. 3 pulls cold popped and then off started.

How well does a Wild Thing cut?
How are they when modded?

They are a race class at sawfest. WT class has to be the early non epa or later strato versions only.

IMHO stay away from the newer strato ones. Freaking turds IMO. I compared 3 of them to one and couldnt touch the non epa early one. Stock to stock good to go.

They run pretty good stock and modded.

Cut like any other 42cc saw but way cheaper.

Sold one early this year to be built for the class. Also sold him a 260 to pull motor to put in the WT body. ;)

They are just cheap plastic clamshell saws in 42cc. No antivibe so vibrate the crap out of your hands. Bare bore too.

Why I tell people if going cheap get a Poulan 260 or 220 42cc Those are chrome bore versions with coil spring antivibe.

All the wild things built for class one year there.

2 sold to be built for that class. 260 engine slip into the WT case.

Frozen spruce wood with one I had like 15 years ago, but get the idea how the 42cc cut.

I had one for a few years, until I bought my 545. I put it in the shed and completely forgot about it. A few years later stumbled across it; dumped fresh gas in and off it went.
With no vibration dampening though, I couldn't run it very long.
