You would think a 088 carb would fuel that a lot better than a tillitosn HL carb.

Hell, I have that carb on a McCulloch super 250 and I think it fails to keep up.

How are they supplying enough fuel for that volume of cylinder?

I talked to the collector that owns the race 090 now too. He said just a modified HR on it.

You do know the carbs are not stock on real racesaws I hope. Nothing stock about the carbs.

Heck even son's kart carbs wasnt stock. Amazing how much you can get from them inside and stay looking stock on out side.

Mine were done so flow wasnt a problem if even on the big cc saws.

Both 346's put on the shelf with rest for testing chains etc at later date.

Great I was saying this after getting boat ready today.

Wife in the garden with mini tiller by stihl.

Ran ok till it didnt. Wife enjoyed me cussing stihl pos equipment out.

Dang thing only been fed efree. I blame the china made carbs they use my self. Known issue in trimmers too.

7 years on carb rebuild from last time.

Good thing stihl uses china carbs and kits on most everything.

Cheap to buy or rebuild their carbs.

Carb all apart. Pump side Dia iffy. So kit for it and ordered a back up carb.

So if something like this happens again can just swap them out on the fly. No down time.

Trimmer head bought for wife to try on it around the 24 bushes last year.

She loves having that wheel kit on it for everything.

The better 3120 filter choice. Foam oem over the flocked.

Flocked needs greased at mount areas like stihl HD filters.

Dang 661 prices keep going up.

Friends independent shop can beat stihl pricing though. He can buy them at dealer cost and pass on the savings.

He is not held by the neck like stihl dealers are.

Instead of rebuilding that stihl oem China carb again.
7 years on last kit even using Efree gas.

I wanted to check out these aftermarket carbs they have for them. Anywhere from 12-15 shipped as a kit.

I don’t know who Huztl label is but is perfect and tested out fine tuning in garden.
Think part of Farmertec line after quick search.

The other one in afm that caught my eye was the Hipa one.

Have replaced all kinds of stihl trimmer with afm carbs. These tillers just a trimmer head.
