Looks like it should operate, but is it listed for your saw. Jet and Venturi size is the real question.

the one in the first pic is like the one that xyz123 has posted. But I don't know if the are the same.
I see the difference in the pic but I have no idea if there was a design change or not, or whether the carb in the first pic will work ,or not.

Having a hard time locating the carb in the second pic, but it's the same style as on my saw, and appears both share the same part number

I went through a similar situation with a Poulan string trimmer last summer. I had to pull the existing carb, get the numbers off of it, google up that exact number, and match that number with the model of the Poulan string trimmer to get the correct carb off of Amazon. An entire carb, all gaskets, primer bulb, fuel lines, filter were about $13 with free shipping. Popped right on and fired right up. No adjustments were needed.

Speaking of chainsaws, my Dad passed away in 2015 and had about six or so, mostly Craftsman 18" saws. I'm guessing late 70s-early 2000. A couple together in cases, others he disassembled, extra chains, etc. I don't need them...anyone want them for free? I hate to throw things away, someone would have to pick them up, South Central Virginia. PM me if interested. I'd be happy to have everything in boxes if interested.

The carb I had marked A B C was a NON strato carb on a 2150 for a guy long ago.

The strato carbs and other non strato are sometimes set up different. Pay attention to your carb and take pics.

Pic of carb in question and the name brand and numbers always help.

Black plastic upper strato deal was broke off this one. I found the metal wire carbs the same.

Thanks, I don't know what part this carb with the plastic lever plays, but I haven't been able to locate one. All have metal linkage .
My carb number is w-26B. Everything I have seen stated that this different carb is compatible with w-26B. So, I ordered it.

Amazing when a ice storm hits how many want those saws fixed quick. IMO plan ahead keep them ready.

This chain stopped. Then called for 036 carb issue needed for limbs down.

Mailing a couple NLA HDA-164 carbs to some folks. Bag full of them.

Come across another hard to find 3 show HD clutch that was offered on the 380 3750 60cc and 3450. 90% or more always had the 2 shoe though.

Amazing what you forget you have stashed away in bins.

Condensed version from a whole thread on it yesterday at CRG FB. I watched this gold black craftsman 3.3 54cc for 4 months. Hoping someone would by it.
Today I said heck with it.
Didn’t even try to start it yet. Seller seemed like one of the most honest I ever dealt with.
Figure a collector or a local will want it.
Suppose to be original bar and chain. Homeowner owned.

Spur hardly been used.

Air filter getting thin on the flock on inner part.

Outer good though.

Others parts all kept clean.

I thought he had done good on the fuel line and tank vent line from quick look. Till I checked the impulse line.

P+c look good though.

Most psi I have seen from a bare bore.

This saw is SOLD pending me going through it and doing lines etc.

Running and cut with for testing. She lives for another cut. Fuel line, air filter back half, Impulse line.

How NOT to run a impulse line on these. I looped it up on bracket so you could tell what not to do.

US dealer pulled a white OE 372xp pro apart for a look see. Mine I got in to try out and have as a demo saw looked the same inside. Walbro carb, meteor piston with caber ring. Wish the ring wasnt F cast but is what it is.
Cylinders looking so much better then the older blue ones too. Also come with the tiny pto side o-ring installed now, just like OEM. Echo style tank vent.

Old school 372 copy before the xtorq ones. Runs just like the OE ones I had.

My demo saw wearing a 24" GB pro.
