Just a couple for ya. Husqvarna 550XP cylinder kit. Husqvarna coil. Whole stihl chainsaw from their China plant. Trimmers too.

Zama carbs on the saws is owned by stihl in China.

Thats what ticks me off. I am still paying for OEM Sweden and German prices for the China made stuff OEM. So if a comparable part. I try to save the money now.

Also run everything by other saw owners when working on their stuff.

I'm a OEM person myself, but dang come on.

Also why I bought a bunch of those FT saws to test out.

Stuff with a name brand isn't as cheap as it use to be, iphones. laptops, sneakers...... So far their chainsaw are lot cheaper but I think some of them are a copy of well known brands, China is good at copy catting........

I have a Predator engine from HF, and a Honda engine from Northern Tool. They are identical except for the color and price... just over $100 for the former, and around $300 for the latter. The first was made in China, the other was made in Taiwan. I felt pretty foolish when I realized how much extra I'd paid, thinking I was at least paying for first world wages.

I've been pricing air compressors trying to find one which is made in USA. I admit I'm tired of paying extra for that label though, as more and more it seems to be a gimmick, and I"m still buying substandard quality.

It's got the same parts though, and will cost 2-3 times as much.

Really beats the price of my 372xp and has more power
