They were some heavy MFers though back then. 85cc and cut right with but stronger in cuts then today's 85 cc torque wise.Man would I like to see a top notch American made saw again.
I had 3 of them 2 8500 gen3 and 1 5400 gen2
5200 was gen1.
I did get to test the newer Partner made poulan 505 83cc I owned, husky 385xp I owned and friend stihl 064. All in hardwood buried.
Didnt own one of the older ones during the testing.
Thinking the 8500 5400 was like 18lbs 3oz PHO dry weight.
