Refer to John Deere technical solution #54399. This solution involves the installation of an electric fuel pump. The John Deere part number for the fuel pump is KV13829. It costs approximately $90

I paid $10 for an electric fuel pump on amazon so I know you can
get one cheaper than $90

Replace the rubber fuel lines clear back to the tank. They crack and let air in but not fuel out

If the arm that rides on the cam take it apart and heat
that arm and hammer it so it will make contact with the
cam should be good to go. That looks like one that came
off a car or truck engine from the 560's
