LX-280 42C deck on an LT-180?

The local dealership said a deck I was looking at on an auction would fit my LT-180, however, after winning it I figured out that it's actually for an LX-280.

I had tried searching beforehand but could never find good pictures until after I'd already bid.

42C for LT180 - AM133910: Mower Deck Attachment, 42 inch | AM133910

What I got - Unused John Deere 42C Lawn Mower Deck - 42 IN

Does anyone know if there's any chance that it'll fit on my LT-180?

According to AI the 42C does interchange with the AM133910. Do your own research though. AI can lead you astray quicker than you can type the letters in.

Well, the deck assembly you bought is meant to be run w/ an electric PTO clutch. So it won't have the tensioner brackets. Definitely not plug and play.

Yeah I missed that.

At any rate I went and picked it up so I guess I'll just part it out on eBay. I'll keep the wheels for my current deck as mine are almost shot but everything will get listed to hopefully get most of my money back.
