having battery charging issues since bought new when idling alot or running headlamps , also have had problems with fan motor going bad twice and now again. looking for alternator mounting kit and thinking of using a heavier service fan motor from automobile . any tips ?

are ya sure about that model number??? Post your complete serial number, I most likely have a service manual for it

I have a 6 x 4 diesel that also had fan / radiator issues. I had the radiator repaired and then bought an electric fan from a speed shop. wired the fan so it comes on with the ignition. this setup has worked flawlessly for several years now. JD replacements were way too expensive.

THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THE FAN FROM SPEED SHOP.
ALSO I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE MODEL NUMBER IS JUST GOING BY MY PARTS MAN AT LOCAL DEALER. I WILL FIND THE SERIAL NUMBER AND POST IT.
