john deere 790 pto problems

?to is grinding when you try to engage it. Seems to keep running
Even when the clutch is engaged.I am new to tractors but i can't understand
Why I am not grinding gears. Clutch seems fine. Any body have

Make sure clutch pedal is fully to the floor board and give enough time for your gears to slow before trying to engage PTO.

20-30 seconds I'm guessing.

Unless your not depressing the clutch pedal all the way, suppose the clutch could be stuck together.

Did it sit unused for a long time ?

Thanks for the fast reply. The tractor never sat its an 07 with 1200 hrs
It never sits now either great machine. I will try holding the cluch in for
20 or 30 and hope that is all it is. I checked out your pics your tractor
