john deere 5410 4wd

I haven't been very good here. I'm new and am lost. My jd 5410 has lost the 4wd . I don't know if its the linkage or something much more serious. Has anyone been into the rearend and/or encountered this?

It popped in reverse on the right side of the seat and then wouldn't 4wheel. just 2wheel.

could be a roll pin broke. you need to move the lever back and forth and look and see if it is turning the shaft its on. if not looks like roll pin is sheared, if shaft turns its probably internal
