Hi all,

The one end on the lift link has threads that are screwed up. I am talking about the part that the rod turns into when you move the height of the lift link. It is the bottom, so it is a right hand thread. It looks like it is a 7/8" 9NC thread, but I am reluctant to go buy a tap to fix it if that is not what it is. Is that what it is? If not, what type of tap would I need to fix it?

Here is how I would go about figuring out what size. I would go to JD parts (first URL). Find the part number R243221 YOKE LINK END. Then go to second URL which you sign-up to for free, put in the part number and often specs for the part are displayed. At least on my 5210 most thinks are metric. Please see the 2 pdfs includes the specs on the lift link and yoke.
