Snow Blade john deere 5303 2wd ag. tractor

Using John Deere 5305 2wd ag. tractor to plow my driveway. The tractor gets stuck on ice all the time. I would appriciate any suggestions on how to resolve this problem. Thank-you, Will

Tire chains and some extra weight on the back of the machine will do the trick

A bit more information would help some. Did you say you're "plowing" your driveway? What's the purpose for that. IMO I'd use a box blade to cut the driveway if not done already and using the BB create a crown then use a roller to pack it down. I guess I'm a bit confuse by your post.

I figured you did and was only clarifying for the other poster or rather attempting to.

Totally agree with the chains and weight. Maybe slightly lower air pressure too? Don't know if thats doable with R1 or R4 tires.
